ZZZF a band made of of the surnames of band members (ZHANG ZHENG ZENG FANG) saw an interesting confusion on Facebook one day that the Singapore national Anthem had a new arrangement.
During about the same time, Dick Lee curated an event where the anthem was sung by local Rock and Roll grandpa Ramli Sarip in 2019
ZZZF decided to make a Malayan / Nanyang spoof of the concept by Zubir Said the original composer to include a more regional taste involving Nanyang Chinese and Tamil influences.
