JUN-X was a sound track commissioned by Singapore fashion designer VIK LIM for his JUN-X collection of clothes. The parameters of Lim's request was to fuse French medieval music with Chinese sentiments but all correlated by modern music. To create an alienating feel, the language of sung had to not make sense in the modern world. The scale patterns were then much much different than the pop music of today. The medieval music were taken from Guillaume de Machau blended with Valency's brand of anything can be played attitude.
The clothing line never did materialized as the China's market were vastly saturated with all sort of copies famous permutation that even ZARA and H&M were coughing out.
The commissioned piece is what remains to this day.
