Northbound was a short EP by Valency elaborating a captured experience of a place.
Travel up north to the Malaysian land bring new experiences with various town offering different textures of space, sight and sound. Valency attempted to sketch a feel to matched with the place.
Realeased on 5th June 2015, the various travels happened a year before involving train and car rides. Seldom done by Valency is the use of found samples from recording through radio or ambient noise. This work was not played on keyboard or any instruments but entirely a manipulation of sample to derive a taste.
